LAGRANGE -- Mattie G. Lawson, 508 Boundry St., died Wednesday at Kinston Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle House of Prayer for All People, with elder Shawn Waters officiating. Burial will be at Mills Memorial Garden.
She is survived by her husband, bishop Johnnie Lawson of the home; three daughters, Mable Wright and Brenda Faye Hacken of Baltimore, Md., and Peggy Waters of Goldsboro; three sons, Ronnie Lee Lawson, Johnnie Lawson Jr. and Stephen Lawson of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Bernice King of Goldsboro; three brothers, Albert Lee Blount and Alfonzo Blount of LaGrange, Odell Blount of Goldsboro and Theodore Blount of Newark, N.J.; and 16 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home Inc.
