Athanasia Burnette, 73, of 3018 Summit Road, wife of Christo Kenneth Burnette, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at Wayne County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pireaus, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Demitri and Chrisoula Poulimenou.
Mrs. Burnette was retired from retail sales, and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

The Trisagion service will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at 6 p.m. with visitation following until 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, downtown.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at its respective homes.
