MOUNT OLIVE --Helen Davis House, 93, longtime resident of Beautancus community, and recently a resident of Glen-Care of Mount Olive, died Tuesday morning.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Millard Bounds and the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, and at other times at the homes of Austin and Edna House near Mount Olive and Ann and Bill Woolard of Goldsboro.
Mrs. House was the widow of Bertice A. House, and had been a longtime member of Bear Marsh Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Bill Woolard of Goldsboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Austin and Edna House of Mount Olive and B. A. and Colene House of Bickmore, W.Va.; another son-in-law, Billy B. Stroud of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Tommy Davis of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Edna Webster of Clinton and Louise Malpass of Mount Olive; nine grandchildren, Lillian and James Vinson, Cynthia and Greg Leamy, Sheila and Kelly Rhyne, Sharon and Jay Lee, Pamela House Lindsay, Austin Jr. and Leslie House, Lisa and David Mutter, Michelle and Todd Davidson and Tammy and Todd Ullum; 14 great-grandchildren, Amanda and Garrett Lambert, Lindsay Lee, Chelsey Lee and fiance´, Henry Wiggins, Annabeth Lindsay, Will Vinson, Lauren Vinson, Elliott Tracey, Noah Leamy, Logan Leamy, Britni Ramsey, Nicholas Huffman-Mutter, Tyler Mutter, Heath Davidson and Wyatt Davidson; and two great-great-granddaughters, Emma Grace Lambert and Savannah Lambert.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jane Stroud; a granddaughter, Debbie Burnup; her parents, William Robert and Bessie Jane Price Davis; and several brothers and sisters.
