REX HINSON

Rexford Glenn Hinson, 68, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Rex was born in Wayne County March 24, 1942, to the late Chesley Floyd Hinson and Bertha Mae Faircloth Hinson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Thornton and the Rev. Elwyn Ford officiating. A private interment for the family will be at Hinson Family Cemetery.
Rex is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith P. Hinson; his sons, Jesse Bennett and wife, Marie, of Snow Hill and Rexford Andrew "Andy" Hinson and wife, Heather, of Grantham; six grandchildren, Joshua Ginn, Jennifer Bennett, Jessica Bennett, Kassie Ginn, Jesse "Jay" Bennett Jr. and Elizabeth Hinson; his brothers, Lloyd Hinson, Toby Hinson and John Hinson; and his sisters, Hazel Jones, Gladys Worley and Mildred Talton. He is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Alice Holland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Hinson and James Hinson, and his sisters, Esther Holland, Margaret Jones, Alice Williford and Nannie Lee Hudson.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at 1555 Grantham School Road, Goldsboro.
