KENNETH "BUTCH" DAVIS

FAISON -- Kenneth Eugene "Butch" Davis, 71, 561 Emmett Jackson Road, died early Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Thursday beginning at 2 p.m., followed by the funeral at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Faison Cemetery.
"Butch," a farmer and a member of the Faison Methodist Church, is survived by his wife, Gwen Jackson Davis of the home; two sons, Kenneth Davis and John Ashley Davis; four grandchildren, Lauren D. Fulghum, Bradley Davis, Caitlin Davis and Cassidy Davis; three sisters, Ann Taylor, Susan Croom and Jane Tripp, all of Kinston; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Gerald Davis and son of the late Nora Mae Davis and J.C. Edmundson.
