JOHN A. ZAMBELLI
John A. Zambelli, 86, passed away Thursday morning, at Britthaven of Kinston.
A family graveside service was held this morning at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Zambelli was born October 16, 1923, in Gloversville, N.Y., to the late Samuel and Genevieve Zambelli. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son, John L. Zambelli and wife, Novella, of Goldsboro; his daughter, Veda Kay Carter and husband, Mike, of Kinston; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Zambelli was predeceased in death by his wife, Louise Hill Zambelli; his daughter, Jo Ann Popham and several siblings.
