JERRY A. SUTTON

LaGRANGE -- Jerry Andrew Sutton, 60, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday. Jerry was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Lenoir County to the late Woodrow and Thelma Dupree Sutton. Jerry was a retired tobacco buyer having worked with Brown & Williamson Tobacco and Export Tobacco.
A graveside service of remembrance today at 2 p.m. from Pinelawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Bob Smith officiating.
Jerry is survived by a daughter, Jessica Elaine Sutton; two sisters, Judy Whitfield and husband, John Wayne, of LaGrange, Brenda Hines of Winterville; along with a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Lean.
