BONNIE BUTLER LEGRICE

Bonnie Butler LeGrice, 66, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Rhonda Marchese.

Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

Bonnie Butler LeGrice was born in Pasquotank County on Jan. 25, 1944, to the late Carlton Butler and Grace McCormick Butler. She worked in customer service at C.B.M. Laser Company. Bonnie volunteered with the homeless and helped abused women and enjoyed providing Christian singing for senior citizens.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Marchese and husband, Joseph, of Goldsboro, Yvonne LeGrice and husband, David Hertel, of Portland, Ore., and Sandra Moore of Raleigh; her sister, Patsie Collins and husband, the Rev. Paul Collins of Gastonia; her brothers, Billy Gray Butler and Johnny Ray Butler both of Greenville, S.C.; her grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Candice Jackson, Christian Marchese, Jordan Marchese, Blake Marchese and Ashley Moore; and the father of her children, Andrew William LeGrice of Kinston.

The family will receive friends today from 2 until 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Rhonda and her husband, Joe Marchese, at 622 E. Raintree Lane, Goldsboro.
