George Wilbert Creech, 78, died Sunday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1932, in Johnston County to the late Luther Thomas and Elizabeth Sullivan Creech
Funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will be in Sullivan Family Cemetery near Selma.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Fields Creech; a son; and a daughter.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and at other times at their home, 274 Westbrook Ave. in Goldsboro.
