Haywood Jarrell "Wormy" Rollins, 71, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, at his home.
Haywood was born in Wayne County Sept. 8, 1938, to the late Clifton Rollins and Vida Hadnot Rollins.
He was an avid golfer and had a great love for his K-9 friend, "Ringo."
Haywood is survived by his son, Jay Rollins of Goldsboro; his daughter, Pam Pike and husband, Billy, of Stantonsburg; his grandsons, Dustin Jarrell Pike and Brandon Eugene Pike; his brother, Elwood Warren Rollins and wife, Jean, of Pikeville; his sister, Alyene Pollock of New Bern; his half-brother, Clay Rollins of Seven Springs; and his half sisters, Elsa Holliday Pool, W. Va., and Amy Bowyer of Mount Lookout, W. Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wayne County Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 227, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will gather for a time of visitation and sharing Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
