MOUNT OLIVE -- Bertha "Sis" Quinn Carr, 81, 3430 Summerlin Crossroads died Saturday at Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Duplin Co., she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Annie Lofton Quinn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Disciples Church of Christ with elder L.D. Melvin, officiating. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Church Cemetery in Seven Springs.
She is survived by a son, William Quinn of Mount Olive; three daughters, Betty Evans of Pikeville, Ann C. Cromartie of Mount Olive and Stella (Eugene) Wolf of Faison; a brother, Willie Quinn of Mount Olive; a sister, Lillie Everett of Mount Olive; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
