ARTHUR C. JONES

NORFOLK, Va. -- Arthur C. Jones, son of the late Arthur and Carrie A. Jones, was born July 28, 1936, in Johnston County near Princeton, N.C. He made his home in Norfolk, Va., and died Sunday at Portsmouth Military Naval Hospital.
Funeral for Mr. Jones will be held Thursday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Holiness Church on the corner of James and Railroad Street in Princeton, N.C.
He leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Clara Holt Jones; two daughters, Daphne G. Jones-Grantham and Dr. Belle Jones; four sisters, Margaret (Howard) Spruill, Doris J. Fling, Carrie (Decorris) Atkinson and Martha (Jerry) McRae; two brothers, Elmer Jones and Raymond (Valerie) Jones; the Good Samaritans and longtime friends, Scotty and Yvonne Bruce; an aunt, Mrs. Mary A. Southerland; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Sanders' Funeral Home, Smithfield, N.C., is in charge of the arrangements.
