LOUISE P. STRICKLAND
June 12, 1919 - May 6, 2010
Louise Pounds Strickland, 90, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. She was born in Johnston County, daughter of the late Albert A. and Maggie Parrish Pounds.
The Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Wendell. Burial will be in the Central Baptist Church Cemetery in Wendell.
She is survived by her children, Tom and Jo Ann Poole of Goldsboro, Janice and Rudolph Hinnant of Rock Ridge, and Jerry Strickland of Wendell; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
