WILLIAM D. "RICK" RICKER

MOUNT OLIVE -- Funeral services for William Dwight "Rick" Ricker, 58, will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Futrelle officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery.

Rick was born in Camp Pendleton, Calif. He had been an automobile and motorcycle engines repairman, was employed with Calypso Wholesale, and had served in the U.S. Air Force.

His father was the late William David Ricker, and he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sadie Ricker Hoke and Richard Hoke of Buckingham, Ill.; two daughters, Tarla Ricker and Holly Marie Ricker, both of England; a sister, Cynthia Wynnette Ricker Carpenter Wedding, and her husband, Jim, of Kentucky; three brothers, David Ricker of Arkansas, Stanley K. "Stan" Ricker and his mate, Sonya Botino of Mount Olive, and Michael Lee Ricker of Ill.; a half-sister, Gail Shirey of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews, including Jamie Ricker of Ahoskie.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following Monday night's service, and at other times at Stan and Sonya's home at 107 Ridgecrest Drive, Mount Olive.
