Mount Olive -- Omelia Walls Bowden, 87, of 1078 S. Breazeale Ave., died Tuesday at her home.
Home-going services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry B. Faison, officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Armelia King Walls.
Seven children survive.
The family visitation will be held today from 4 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
