The funeral for Addie M. Thompson Porche Dunn will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe A. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Elizabeth Heights Cemetery in Lumberton.

She is survived by her husband, John Dunn of the home; a son, Michael E. Porche of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren, Antonio J. Porche, Erica Porche Clark of Chicago, Ill., and William J. Porche Jr. of Cino, Calif.; three sisters, Corene Thomas of Lumberton, Mildred (Howard) Davis of Georgetown, S.C., and Lessie M. Ware of Lumberton; two brothers, Sherman Jr. (Floria) Thompson of Baltimore, Md., and David (Lena) Thompson of Lumberton; two aunts, Delphia Thompson of Baltimore, Md., and Louise McCorkle of Roselle, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Angeline (Samuel) Fresley of Philadelphia, Pa., and Gwendolyn (Charlie) Carbella of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Booker T. Dunn and William Dunn of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Dr. Mary Boddie of Cumberland, Md., and Ethel Nixon of Philadelphia, Pa.; a special friend and care provider, Sherrie Habib, LPN, who provided care for more than seven years; a caregiver, Martha Cole, CNA II; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will be present at the church for a viewing and visitation Wednesday starting at 10 a.m.

Her mortal remains have been entrusted to Lightner Memorial Funeral Home.
