LOIS R. HILL

Lois Radford Hill, 85, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Born in Greene County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Cora Ham Radford and wife of the late Rev. William Taylor Hill. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro and was a former foster grandparent at Howell's Child Care Center.

Mrs. Hill is survived by a son, Kenny Hill of Cary; two daughters, LaNelle Hill of Boone, Janice Hill Basden of Dudley; three sisters, Dixie Murphy, Addie Lovett, Betty Lou Parks; two brothers, Albert Radford, Bruce Radford; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Rev. Taylor Hill Endowment Scholarship Fund at Mount Olive College, 634 Henderson St., Mount Olive, NC 28365.
