KINSTON -- Sudie Abigail Parks, 58, died Saturday at Caswell Center in Kinston.

Funeral was to be held today at 11 a.m. at Caswell Center chapel, with chaplain Allen Ham officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Mahlon Parks and Irene Parks Hill.

For 50 years, Abigail lived a happy, fulfilled life at Caswell Center, where she was loved and nutured. She enriched the lives of all who knew her and she will be missed.

She is survived by a sister, Barbara P. Radford (Maxton) of Wilmington; brother, Mahlon Eugene Parks (Connie) of Goldsboro; brother, Randy Hill of LaGrange; close personal friends, Robert and Barbara Shepard; and her extended family, the staff and residents of Caswell Center.

Family members greeted friends today from 10 to 11 a.m. at Caswell Center and requests that memorial gifts be directed to Caswell Center Foundation, 2415 W. Vernon Ave., Kinston, N.C., 28501.
