Brenda Parnell Hinnant, 50, passed away Sunday.
Funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Frasher and the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Brenda was born in Wayne CountyJune 11, 1959, to Edward Paul Parnell of Goldsboro and the late Jessie Woodard Parnell.
She was a 1977 graduate of Goldsboro Christian School and had attended Bob Jones University.
Brenda worked at Sam's Club and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Jim Hinnant; her children, Brad Hinnant and wife, Cheryl, of Goldsboro and Jennifer Boatright and husband, Joshua, of Greenville, S.C.; her father, Edward Parnell of Goldsboro; her sister, Judy Whitley and husband, Earl, of Pikeville; her brother, Kenneth Parnell of Goldsboro; several nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Burnice Hinnant of Goldsboro; and her sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Hinnant Drotzur and husband, Corey, of Goldsboro.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Parnell, and her father-in-law, Carlie Hinnant.

The family will receive friends today following the service at Grace Baptist Church and other times at the home.
