Hazel E. Witherspoon, 83, Greenevers community, died Saturday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral will be held at Greater Yeshuwa Temple in Wallace Saturday at noon, with apostle Davelon Carr officiating. Burial will be at Farrior Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Witherspoon of Rose Hill; a son; and a daughter.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
