WILLARD -- Lib Murphy, 93, 9122 Willard Road, died Sunday at home.
Funeral will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, Thursday at noon, with the Rev. Kimberly Raynor as eulogist. Burial will be at Murphy Family Cemetery in Wallace.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Paulette Newkirk (Clovis) of Willard and Christine Rid-dick of Bridgeport, Conn.; two grandchildren, Deidre Mur-phy (John) of Willard, whom he helped raise, and Colleen Arthur (Lori) of Bridgeport, Conn.; three great-grandchildren; five great -great-grandchildren; a brother: Ivory Murphy (Doris) of Goldsboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill.
