Arleatha Wright Brewington, 73, 344 Alabama Ave., passed from this life Sunday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Her life will be remembered Friday at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall on Eleventh St. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Precious memories are cherished by her children, Coleader "Angel" Brewington (Tony) of Goldsboro, Stephan "Chico" Brewington (Virginia) of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jason Patterson (Shelly) of Milwaukee, Wisc.; a special granddaughter, Megan Graham of Goldsboro; a grandaughter-in-law, Megan Brewington of Goldsboro; an uncle, Harry Monk (Ida) of Goldsboro; a special friend, Carolyn Brown of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in the silent chambers of death by a grandson, James "Bunky" Brewington.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries and Florist.
The family will receive friends at 200 Lockhaven Dr., Apt. 6C, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral cortege.
