MARY LOUISE WHITTED

Mary Louise Whitted, 66, of 6008 Louise Court, Deerfield Apartments, Fountain, departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries and Florist, 900 South George St., Goldsboro. Elder Luby Jackson III will be officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mill Cemetery, Goldsboro. A wake will be held this afternoon, Jan. 10, 2010, at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries and Florist from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m., with the family present to receive other family members and friends.
Mary was born on Aug. 6, 1943, in Nash County, to late Mr. Fred Whitted and Mrs. Mary Harris Whitted.
She attended Springfield High School in Lucama.
As an adult, she worked at the Deerfield Apartments as the site manager.
Mother Whitted leaves to cherish her loving memories three daughters, Valerie Whitted of Farmville, Sonya Whitted of LaGrange, Lanette Whitted of Fountain; one son, Carlton L. Whitted and wife, Bernadette, of Alexandria, Va.; four sisters, Barbara Mack of Mount Vernon, NY, Bettie Hammond of Goldsboro, Rosalie Martinez of Dayton, Ohio, and Martha Jones of Goldsboro; two brothers, Harold Neal and wife, Mary, of Wilson, and Daniel Williams and wife, Ammie, of Dale City, Va.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Ms. Sonya Whitted, 102 Water Oak Drive, LaGrange, N.C. 28551.
