Died Dec. 20, 2009

WARSAW -- Louetta Ford, 97, 225 Prospect St., died Sunday at Carolina East Hospice Care Center.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Theodore Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony Bryant and Bertha Best Bryant.

She was a retired educator with Duplin County Schools.

She was a lifetime member of First Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the financial secretary and a member of the program committee and Pastor Aid Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Celestine Ford of Goldsboro and Geraldine Wallace and Brenda Dobson of Warsaw; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

There will be a viewing tonight from 5 to 7 at Rhodes chapel. The procession will line up at 129 King Court Drive in Warsaw.
