Dennis Melvin Smith, 48, 702 Rudolph St., died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at LBJ Center on the campus of Original Tabernacle Prayer For all People, with pastor Gregory Jones officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Donald Smith, and a stepson.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 404 Hamilton Drive, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
