MOUNT OLIVE -- Rowena Wilson Mossholder, 79, passed away Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Leland Heath officiating. The family will remain to greet family and friends following the service.
Mrs. Mossholder was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Dec. 4, 1929, to the late Lawrence Wilson and Irene Tyndall Wilson.
Mrs. Mossholder retired from the United States Department of Defense after 30 years of service.
She was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Mossholder is survived by her son, Richard Mossholder of Mount Olive; her granddaughter, Kristi Sellers of Alabama; and her great-grandchidren, Nathaniel and Payton Sellers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin B. Mossholder; her parents; her son, Larry B. Mossholder; and her grandson, Richard L. Mossholder II.
