NINA R. LEWIS
Funeral services for Nina Rowe Lewis will be held Saturday at Saints Delight United Holy Church, 976, LaGrange Road in LaGrange in Parkstown community, with elder Devin C. Pickett Sr., pastor, delivering the eulogy and elder Antonio Blow presiding.
Mrs. Lewis was united in holy matrimony to the late J.B. Lewis and to this union eight children were born.
"Sister" as she was affectionaly called, is survived by her children, Melvin (Shirley) Lewis of Goldsboro, James Mack (Loretta) Lewis of Snow Hill, L. Faye Lewis of Goldsboro, Raphell (Barbara) Lewis of Dudley and Samuel (Clarice) Lewis of Dudley; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two godsons, Dea Marive Broadie and Bro. Thurman Grant; one son-in-law, Dennis Brant; one special friend, Maria Gardnell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
