FREMONT -- Kenneth Wayne Hooks, 63, N.C. 222 west, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home chapel in Fremont. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mr. Hooks is survived by his mother, Ruth Hooks Aycock and husband, Royal of Fremont; one son, Rusty G. Hooks of Fremont; one daughter, Kimberly Hooks of Fremont; and one brother, Danny Hooks of Fremont; and a granddaughter, Hannah Sutton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hardy Elmer Hooks.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
