Virginia Proctor Atkins, 77, passed away Thursday morning at her home.
No formal service will be held.
Virginia was born in Nash County Jan. 6, 1932, to the late Frank Proctor and Beadie Hunt Proctor. She was married to the late Clyde Davis Atkins.
Virginia was a retired nurse at the hospital at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Henton Rymil Harrison and wife, Judy, of Four Oaks and David Robert Harrison and wife, Sandra, of Charlotte, and two grandchildren.
