EDNA G. ANDERSON

Edna Gray Anderson, 84, passed away on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Wayne County on Aug. 31, 1925, to the late Carl and Annie Gray. She was married to the late Raymond Anderson.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The Revs. Tom Harper and James McCandless will officiate. At other times the family will be at the home of Jimmy and Joyce Anderson, 1248 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her sons, Vernon Anderson and wife, Linda, of Goldsboro and Jimmy Anderson and wife, Joyce, of Goldsboro; her sisters, Frances Lancaster of Goldsboro, Sudie McCandless of Goldsboro and Elizabeth Faircloth of Kernersville; her sister-in-law, Mary Gray of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Randall Anderson, Beverly Lane and Kevin Anderson; and five great-grand-children.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bert Gray and Lloyd Gray; and her sister, Viola Hare.
