Died Oct. 20, 2009

Willie Kinsey Jr., 67, 413 Miller Ave., joined the innumerable caravan in the silent halls of death Tuesday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, with Dr. Kenny Jones officiating. Mr. Kinsey will be laid to rest Wednesday at noon at Sandhills Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, with military honors.

Brother Kinsey served as musician for Stanley Chapel FWB Church where he was a member and numerous church and gospels groups including: St. Luke Church of Christ, Mt. Zion Christian Church, Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, Goshen Chapel Church, Alpha and Omega Christian Center, St. Mark FWB Church, Holly Hill Church of Christ, Pentecostal United Holiness Church, Norwest B. 5th District Union Choir, Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church, Guiding Star United Holiness Church.

His music and memory will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Fannie D. Kinsey, of the home; daughters Arlease J. Perry, Dephia K. Hunter, Bessica M. Hensley all of Houston, Texas; a son, Willie Kinsey III of Virginia; stepsons, Percy Graham Jr. of Goldsboro, James (Tammy) Graham of Farmville; stepdaughter, Doretha (Darryl) Foster of Atlanta, Ga.; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday from 2:30 until 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.

The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stanley Chapel FWB Church, or to your local church or charity.
