Gertrude Herring Johnson, 99, died Thursday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, with the family receiving friends Sunday immediately following the funeral service in the church parlor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
