Virginia Sanderson Lancaster, 73, died Wednesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7:30 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Horace Johnson and the Rev. Eddie McKeel officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse L. and Eunice Miller Sanderson and wife of the late Willie "Preacher" Lancaster.
Family members will greet friends tonight at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service.
