CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Kenneth Bynum, 69, 234 Gardengate Way, departed this mortal sojourn Oct. 14 in Renown Health Hospital in Reno, Nev.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, 900 S. George St. in Goldsboro, with elder H. E. McNair officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Carver Memorial Park in Mount Olive.

Precious and endearing memories remain in the hearts of his five children, Kenneth E. Bynum of Park Rapids, Minn., Veronica B. Dudley of Portland, Ore., Letricia P. Singleton of Newport News, Va., Cheryl D. Cloud of Okinawa, Japan, and Karen Bynum of Fort Bragg; his stepmother, Goldie B. Bynum of Mount Olive; two brothers, Joel L. Bynum and Curtis G. Bynum of North Carolina; sister, Myrtle A. Miller of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces.

The family will receive friends at 1217 Porter St., where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
