FERGUSON -- Walter Michael Zibelin, 61, Wagon Ridge Lane, died Wednesday at his home.
A private memorial service was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Coventry chapel in Wilkesboro, with the Rev. Stewart Roten officiating.
Zibelin was born in New Hanover County Dec. 8, 1947, to Cedric Vollers and Frances Thomas Benson Zibelin.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Rose Blackman Zibelin of the home; a daughter; and a son.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in North Wilkesboro is handling the arrangements.
