HENRY "H.B." BRASTON KEEN

SALISBURY -- Henry "H.B." Braston Keen Jr., 74, died Sunday at Genesis Healthcare.
Visitation was held Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Milford Hills Baptist Church. The funeral service followed at 2 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Jerry Allen officiating. Burial followed at City Memorial Park.
Born Dec. 28, 1934, in Goldsboro to the late Iva Dew and Henry Braston Keen Sr., he was a graduate of Goldsboro High School class of 1953.
Mr. Keen was an engineer with Southern Bell for 38 years.
Surviving him are three sons, Henry B. Keen III and wife, Adell, of Weddington; Matt Keen and wife, Ruth, of Raleigh and Jimmy Keen and wife, Renee, of Sanford; brother, Donald Keen and wife, Aylene, of Charlotte; and five grandchildren, Nicole Keen, Kristen Keen, Marion Keen, Holden Keen and Charles Keen.
Preceding Mr. Keen in death Oct. 24, 2007, was his wife, Frances Malpass Keen.
