Mar’Qorce J. “Woodie” Atkinson, 6, 106 Ironwood Road, died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, with elder Douglas Atkinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden.
A viewing was held Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with the family present later in the evening to receive friends from 7 to 8. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence where they will also assemble one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson.
