FAISON -- Sam W. "Jackie" Jackson, 75, died Saturday in Ringgold, Ga. He was the son of the late Sam and Laura Jane Matthews Jackson.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Faison Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating.
He was a member of Goldsboro Moose Lodge, the VFW, American Legion, and was a Mason.
He is survived by a stepson, John Allen of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, Thomas M. Jackson of Kinston, and Vayden C. Jackson of Myrtle Beach; and a niece, Sydonna Jackson.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Tuesday from 7 until 8 p.m.
