SEVEN SPINGS -- Edward Rodolph Adams, 84, died Monday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phyllis Vail officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Rodolph was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Wayne County to the late Lonnie Edward Adams and Julie Kornegay Adams.
A longtime farmer and merchant, Rodolph was a former member of the Wayne County ABC Board and presently a member of the Seven Springs Town Council.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ola Mae Moye Adams; two sons, Eddy Adams of Clayton and Billy Adams of Seven Springs; sister, Mae Adams Ivey of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Patrick Adams and wife, April, of Apex, Sierra Adams of Lenoir, Jordan Adams of Lenoir and Chelsee Adams of Statesville; and a daughter-in-law, Gaye Adams.
The family will receive friends Wednesday beginning one hour before the service.
