MOUNT OLIVE -- David Earl Williams, 62, 509 Oliver St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor Larry Faison officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Alice Earl Powell and the late James Hayes.
In addition to his mother, three children survive.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
