Bessie Powell, 89, 207 Clay Road, died Monday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Her life will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with elder Franklyn Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Matthew Church Cemetery in LaGrange.
Precious memories are cherished by her sister, Eva Sanders of Goldsboro, and a niece, Alice Wooten of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
