Thomas Ray Padgett, 73, 1337 Red Hill Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Albertson Ward, N.C. 111. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill.
A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight.
Mr. Padgett is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home and his son Jeff Padgett of LaGrange.
Additional survivors include his sister, Ruth Holmes of Kenansville; two brothers, James Padgett of Goldsboro and Melvin Padgett of Kinston; two grandchildren, Jeffery Padgett of Greenville and Pfc. Morgan Padgett of Kinston.
