BECKY SOUTHERLAND KRIGER

BEAUTANCUS -- Becky Southerland Kriger, 66, of 1552 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, in the Beautancus community, died at her home in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 25, 2009.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at Stanford Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard Lewis and the Rev. Chris Turner.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home on Monday night, April 27, from 7 until 9 p.m., and at other times at the home of Tony and Lisa Jones on Macon Swinson Lane, Mount Olive.

Becky was a licensed practical nurse, retiring from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Kriger of the home; her mother, Hazel Davis Southerland of Beautancus; her three children, Lisa Swinson Jones and husband, Tony; Melanie Swinson McKee and husband, Steve; and Elliott Carson Kriger and wife, Adrienne, all of Beautancus; two granddaughters, Ruby Jordan Jones and Michaela Ruth Jones, both of Beautancus; three brothers, Leslie Brown "Brownie" Southerland Jr. and wife, Suzanne, of Seven Springs, Leonard Southerland and Kent Southerland and wife, Sarah, all of Beautancus; and special friends, Matilda Brock and Cheryl Pappan of Wichita, Texas, Dorothy Letchworth of Stantonsburg, Emmett and Jo Ann Wrenn of Stovall, and Douglas and Frances Davis of Beautancus.

Her father, Leslie B. Southerland Sr., preceded his daughter in death.
