FAYETTEVILLE - Frances Kirby Schwarz, 76, 810 Emeline Ave, died Monday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at MacPherson Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jerrold C. Burnside officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
She was a member of MacPherson Presbyterian Church and a charter member of Cape Fear Botanical Gardens. She was a nurse and then nurse practitioner for over 26 years with Cumberland County Health Department.
She is survived by a son, Larry H. Schwarz, of Winterville and a daughter, Kathy Schwarz, of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to MacPherson Presbyterian Church, 3525 Cliffdale Rd., Fayetteville, 28303 or to a charity of one's choice.
