GREENVILLE, S.C. - Joyce Marie Davis King, 70, 108 Sorrell Drive, died Monday at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born in Princeton. and was the daughter of the late Henry Clayton Nelson Davis and Nancy Marie Eason Davis.
Mrs. King was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, William Franklin King of the home; a daughter, Shirley Bevins of Toccoa, Ga.; three sons, Jerry Lee King of Grantham; Bobby Joe King of Greenville; and Nelson Eddie King of Greer; two brothers, Harold Ray and David Earl Davis of Goldsboro; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Louise Davis Quinn; son, David Franklin King; sister, Martha Ann Prichett, and a brother, George Davis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. The family will receive friends at the residence.
