KENLY - Kenneth Wayne Aycock, 68, of Railroad St., died this morning at his home. He was born in Wayne County to the late Jarvis E. and Alice J. Aycock. He was a long-time entrepreneur and auctioneer as well as former owner of Aycock Auto Auction.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kenly Cemetery with Masonic rites.
He is survived by his wife, Mae P. Aycock; a daughter, Ellie Aycock Johnson; and two granddaughters.
Mr. Aycock was preceded in death by a son, Dale Wayne Aycock.
Family will receive friends at Coley Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
