EUNICE J. FERREE

Eunice Jones Ferree, 82, of 706 Steele St., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born in Duplin County to the late Ina Dail and Barney Webster Jones and is survived by her husband, Raymond "Ray" Ferree. Mrs. Ferree was a bookkeeper for Gallaher LTD. She was a founding member of Love Memorial Baptist Church.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bobby Heath officiating. Internment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ferree is survived by special daughters, Nancy Walker and husband, Steve, of Pikeville, and Gwen Bartlett and husband, Lemuel, of Goldsboro; a niece, Ann Turner of New Bern; special grandchildren, Austin and Ashton Walker of Pikeville; and a caregiver, Lynn Joyner of Mount Olive.
