Died Oct. 27, 2006

The funeral for Henry Coley, Sr., 84, 709 S. Slocumb St., formerly of 1004 N. James St., will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen's Missionary Baptist Church, 206 Pearson St., with the Rev. E.K. Sutton officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park. He was a World War II veteran who served in the 8th Army Division.

He is survived by four daughters; Sellestine, and husband, William, Foster of Goldsboro, Hester and husband, Marvin, Freeman of Aberdeen, Md., Doretha Coley of Capitol Heights, Md., and Elder Vivian Whitaker, and husband, Lawyer, of the home; two sons, Henry Coley, Jr. of Aberdeen, Md.,and Apostle Luby (Debbie) Coley of Louisburg; one brother, Ivory Coley of Goldsboro; 30 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
