Pauline Yelverton Rich, of the Brian Center, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Rich, born to the late Adain and Pearl Austin Yelverton, was a native of Wayne County and attended Wayne County Schools. She was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an usher. She was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Chauncy Rich, and daughter Dorothy Rich.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Arthur Evans officiating
Ms. Rich is survived by two sisters, Doris Darden of Goldsboro, and Eloise Pate of Philadelphia.
The viewing will be held Monday afternoon from 2 to 6 at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister 1401-D John St.
