Fracis Evans, 84, of 1709 Ball Street, Goldsboro, died Sunday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Mount Olive.
The viewing will be Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street, 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Family will be present to receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m., Northeast Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, East James Street, Mount Olive with the Rev. Arnold B. Coley, Jr. officiating. The burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ms. Evans was a Native of Wayne County, and employed at the Mount Olive Pickle Company. She was also active at the Wayne County Services On Aging Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah and Susan Faison Kornegay.
Survivors include two sons, David Evans of Woodbridge, Va., and Kenneth Evans of LaPlata, Md.
